Yes, the Bluewave unit has a standard 12 month warranty.
How long is the installation process for the Bluewave?
The Bluewave installation can take up to an hour, provided that the water and plug point is within 1.5 meters from where the unit will be mounted.
What sizes is the Bluewave available in?
Sizes Available: 2,5L, 5L, 7,5L, 10L, 15L, 20L, 40L. The size that is best for you will depend on your needs and frequency of use, we will guide you in providing a size that suits your needs.
Is there an additional cost to service the Bluewave?
We will charge the standard call out and labour fees.
Is best practice information readily available after my installation?
Our technicians are available to provide onsite training and answer any questions you may have after installation. Additionally we have a Youtube channel where you can find tutorials and videos for best practices
Does loadshedding affect the Bluewave Unit?
The Bluewave unit will turn off during loadshedding, but our ecofriendly extra thick insulation will keep your water boiling hot throughout a 2 hour loadshedding schedule.
Do I need a certificate of compliance for installation?
No, a certificate of compliance is not required for installation of a Bluewave.
Are spares readily available & from where?
We manufacture our Bluewaves locally and keep spares of all the components on hand. This means that you can be confident that any parts you may need will be readily available from us.
What and how often should maintenance be done on my Bluewave?
Regular maintenance and inspections are important to help ensure that your Bluewave continues to function properly and efficiently. We recommend having a professional inspection every 6 months, which should include checking for any scale buildup and inspecting the moving parts of the unit.
